29 CFR 1910.134: Determining if your employees need respirators; if so, what kind to use, how to fit test and care for equipment.

OBJECTIVE: To make sure the student understands the importance of a respirator as Personal Protective Equipment and the proper use and care of respirators.

The student will learn how to don his respirator so that it fits properly, how to determine if his air purifying respirator cartridges need to be changed, how to inspect the respirator and proper cleaning and storage technique.
